Belgian Festival in Guangzhou – 26-28 October 2011 – Guangzhou

On the occasion of the Princely mission to Guangzhou and Shenzhen from October 26-28 2011, the Consulate General of Belgium in Guangzhou will organize a “Belgian Festival” at the Canton Tower, the most prestigious landmark in this young and rich city. The event is aimed at putting the Belgian trademark in the spotlight in South China and to make Belgium’s rich cultural heritage better known in this region. It will consist of all kinds of activities with a distinct Belgian flavor, such as concerts, art exhibitions, a Belgian delicacy market, cultural and art exhibitions, a comic book expo with the Smurfs and Tintin and a large-scale beer festival.
