The Flanders-China Chamber of Commerce (FCCC) organized the seminar “How to Promote Your Brand in Shanghai” in the presence of HE Jan Jambon, Minister-President of Flanders and Flemish Minister for Foreign Policy, Culture, IT and Facilities. Following registration and breakfast, welcoming remarks were given by Ms Gwenn Sonck, Executive Director Flanders-China Chamber of Commerce/EU-China Business Association; Ms Li Hong, Vice Chairwoman of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce; and HE Mr Jan Jambon, Minister-President of the Government of Flanders. Mr Cheng Meng, Director of the Department of International Trade in Services presented the Shanghai Service Trade Development Report. Mr Marc Van Gastel, Head of the Department Invest, Flanders Investment & Trade, talked about “Advantages of Investing in Flanders, Belgium”, followed by Ms Linda Peng, Head of Entertainment and Fashion Media, Eastday, who introduced “Online Marketing in the New Era”. Mr Li Xucheng, Director of the Commission of Commerce of Huangpu District government, explained the “Business Environment of Huangpu District”. Finally, Mr Tang Yunyi, Researcher at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, talked on the topic of “China-EU cooperation and joint efforts to enhance the city’s core competitiveness”. Networking between Chinese and Belgian participants concluded the event.
