The Flanders-China Chamber of Commerce, the EU-China Business Association, the China IPR SME Helpdesk and the China Chamber of Commerce / EU are organizing a webinar focused on “How to Protect Your Trade Secrets in China” on 13 April 2021 at 10:30 am.

The speaker:
Valentin de le Court graduated from the law faculties of Université Saint-Louis (1998) and Université de Louvain (2001) and holds a Master degree in Intellectual Property Law from HUBrussel / KULeuven (2008). He was a member of the Brussels bar between 2004 and 2013, which he joined again in 2017.
Valentin de le Court specialises in contentious and non-contentious IP law matters, with a particular focus on patent and trademark litigation and contracts as well as trade secrets protection.
From 2012 to 2015 he worked in the Shanghai office of a Chinese IP boutique firm, which enabled him to develop an expertise in Chinese IP law (litigation, IP portfolio strategies, legal advice, contracts and China related technology transfer).
Valentin is also an appointed expert of the ‘China IPR SME Helpdesk’, an EU Commission funded project that supports European SMEs with their China IP law issues.
He has published several articles on Chinese IP law and is a regular speaker on this topic.
